MY CAREER
Over 15 Years of Experience Across the
Engineering Lifecycle
I’m a highly organized and detail-oriented Professional Engineering Consultant with a knack for strategy and the ability to prioritize effectively. I possess triple nationality (USA, Romania and Ecuador) as well as valid credentials for working offshore in US OCS, Canada, and North Sea. I am fluent in three languages (English, Spanish and Romanian), and have resided in 6 different countries across the globe. Therefore, I am well prepared to engage in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams with ease, even in remote locations.

For years, I’ve succeeded in guiding clients on the path to success and assisted them in making some of their most complex decisions. I take pride in my academic and professional achievements — and I am happy to share that knowledge and experience with you.
RIG EQUIPMENT ADVISOR
EXXONMOBIL - UPSTREAM INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS
March 2013 - December 2015
September 2017 - April 2020
One of the three founding members of the Drilling Quality Team. Initially engaged for a 6-month project to assist in defining KPIs to steward Critical Equipment, I developed the asset and quality management processes still used today.

I contributed to the development of contractual Technical and Quality Specifications, requirements for alignment between Operator, Drilling Contractor and Service Providers, and built a robust system for analyzing non-productive time (NPT) to identify leading performance trends.
I have also coordinated or led most rig inspection and acceptance projects since the program was developed.
TECHNICAL DIRECTOR -
WELL CONTROL SERVICES,
ATHENS GROUP
November 2009 - August 2017
I was the first consultant with BOP experience in the company. In little over 3 years, I built the foundation for Athens Group's Well Control Equipment services and established the company as a reputable name in this space.
From the Gulf of Mexico to Eastern Canada, Eastern Asia to Caspian Sea, and South and Western Africa, I have engaged multiple clients and stakeholders in a variety of roles with ever changing equipment configurations. I also served as the face and voice of Athens Group as a member of various joint industry projects, including competency development and workgroups led by Trade Associations to respond to the Well Control Rule by the BSEE.
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER I, GE OIL & GAS - HYDRIL PRESSURE CONTROL
June 2007 - November 2009
I began my engineering career as a BOP MUX Control System Field Service Engineer at Hydril Company. I chose to start in the field because I knew that I needed field experience on top of my engineering degree before I could call myself a competent engineer.

As the company transitioned from independent to Tenaris, back to independent, and eventually a GE Oil & Gas company, I also transitioned to an engineering design role in the BOP Control System Standard group. As an Electrical Engineer I, I was able to utilize my experience in manufacturing and in the field to design improvements to the standard BOP Control System.
